眩し過ぎた夢の後先は 既に遠く知り得なくても
目の前にあるリアルな眼差しに 応えられるのなら

Raising the Velvet!
I distantly gazed upon the gleaming soiree at a place isolated by velvet.
Born and vanishing stars gather around a stage that I could never be invited to.
I suppress it alongside my long gone wishes — thinking solitude is the best solution.
Nevertheless, my sinful ambivalence tempts me towards that boundary line.
In the quietening down darkness, my heart starts to race, thinking that this is the center of the world.
I dedicate my body to the surges of heat prickling at my skin.
Raising the Velvet! Exposed by the delight of
this moment I’ve gotten tired of waiting for, let’s step forth into the light.
Velvet! My curtains rise.
Please, may I shine on the stage this evening…
As that gaze pulled me by the hand, I thought love could even melt lead.
These heavy shackles of cowardice are adorned with light feathers.
Even if I can’t know the consequences of those blindingly dazzling, already too far away dreams,
If I’m answered with such an earnest gaze before my very eyes…
A sigh of hope that shakes this moment to its core. This is the beginning of it all.
As if I was enticed by that cruel whisper.
Gazing at My stage! My released inhibitions are
forgiven by the cheers, and I step forth into the light.
My stage! As distorted as it may be,
this evening, my story came to life.
All at once, the applause dominates the room.
Love transcends all boundaries.
Please, continue supporting me with that gaze.
